This Friday saw the year end Gourmet dinner of our Wine Tasting Club held at our usual venue at the Codfather Village of Restaurants in Rivonia Johannesburg. It was a great evening with superb wine from the Glen Carlou selection and fantastic food. We had the Kleftiko as our main course and we can truly say it was the best Kleftiko we have had. Each wine was carefully selected for each course of the dinner. It is not often that one has the opportunity to have six different superb wines at a dinner! Charmain from Glen Carlou gave us some background about each wine as we went along with Jenny from Vinimark who normally organises the selection of wines from the different wine estates for our wine tasting evenings. The wine tasting evenings are organized as a fund raiser for the School of Philosophy.

Jenny receives some flowers for all her hard work during the year. It had been a great evening and now we need a hike again to work off the calories!
