Actually the only reason we ended up at Suikerbosrand today was because we were looking for a new venue to hold our monthly business meeting. We used to go to Hennops Pride, but that place has distinctly fallen out of our favor. We decided on Sukerbosrand because of the 4.5km Cheetah trail that we did before the meeting and the great picnic and braai facilities that they have there. If possible, we try to hold our monthly meeting somewhere out in nature, and Suikerbosrand turned out to be a great choice! The little trail gave us the opportunity to see some sun and green and have a nice braai afterwards. The trail basically just contours around one of the hills in the area and then returns back to the visitors center.

About two hundred meters into the walk is a little cemetery.

A little further on the trail starts turns left and heads up the hill.

Along the way comes across an old kraal partially hidden by vegetation.

In the distance you can see the visitors center.

As with most of the rest of Suikerbosrand, the area is mainly hilly grassland.

And now onto business...in a relaxed way :-)!
