Finally after many years we managed to have a look at the South African Lipizzaners. Its always the same, if you have something next door one puts off seeing it time and time again, but this Sunday we made it! The South African Lipizzaners are situated just north of Kyalami. The show is well worth a visit and its a real delight to watch these horses perform with the old military precision. The breed itself dates back to about 1562 to the time of Archduke Maxiimillian.
