Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail Kaapsehoop is one of our old favorites. The base camp consists of two railway coaches with very good facilities.

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail Dinner was the usual Braai, beer and wine and some other strange stuff that Tim brought that went down rather well!

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail After another hour of slogging away through pine forest and over rocks, we made it to our overnight "hut". The hut was an old foresters house right in the middle of the pine forest.  The place was also well equipped with a "Donkey" and plenty of fire wood. Now for that Whiskey!

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail A beautiful big tree in the garden.

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail Enjoying the evening with the braai and wine...well at least some of us had brought some wine. The others looked enviously on!

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail While most had "Glue" for breakfast some of the others had a delicious Cheese and Bacon omelet.

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail Day two, and ready to role.

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail Some nice scenery.

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail The second day takes you through a bit of grassland and some interesting rocks before descending into pine forest again.

Kaapsehoop Wattles Trail Eventually you exit the forest and follow the same path back as the day before. Well...that was the end of another great weekend. Nobody was looking forward going back to work the next day again!
